Brake fluid tester

The SecoRüt brake fluid tester allows you to measure the moisture content of your brake fluid. This is especially important because brake fluid can reach temperatures of over 200 °C on extreme journeys! But the brake fluid's boiling point reduces with age. This is the result of moisture mixing in with the brake fluid. In severe cases, this can lead to the brakes failing entirely. Moisture is also responsible for causing corrosion damage in the hydraulic brake system. Regular testing and replacing the brake fluid is therefore essential. The SecoRüt brake fluid tester makes the moisture content of the brake fluid visible. Simply hold the probe measures into the liquid in the compensation tank. Three LEDs indicate the state the liquid is in. Another LED indicates if the battery is empty.

It is recommended for your safety, that you regularly test the brake fluid in your vehicle.
